Sauble Falls B&B

Our home has been a Guest house since 1969. Originally called "The Barbara Inn" after one of the original owners of this guest house, this welcoming property overlooks the Sauble River just 400 feet from Sauble Falls.

Follow us as we share our journey living as innkeepers at Sauble Falls Bed and Breakfast - centrally located on the beautiful Bruce Peninsula.  We encourage past Guests to share their visual stories too via our Facebook page.

Start your fishing journey with chinook salmon, rainbow and brown trout and more from the Sauble River (and oour dock in fishing season).  Located just 125 m from the only natural fish ladder on the Bruce Peninsual; visitors enjoy the marvel of rainbow trout running up in the spring and chinook salmon making their annual fish run in the autumn.

Is swimming your thing?

Swim from our dock in summer or go walking at Sauble Falls and enjoy a seat in cool, clean water.  Paddles rejoice... Guests have complimentary use of our kayaks, canoes and Standup Paddle board from April through mid-November. My personal journey begins in my kayak.

In the winter, we're right on a snowmobile trail and you can cross-country ski and/or snowshoe right from our front door.  Enjoy the view of mother nature all year!

Guests also have access to a gorgeous back deck and to an outdoor Beachcomber hot tub for eight*. There is also a campfire pit (in season).

Lots to enjoy!

In the fall, there’s still lots to enjoy! Geocaching, hunting, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, birdwatching and ATV-ing to name a few. Stargazing is also awesome in this dark skies area and in the fall, with the leaves gone, it is breathtaking.

Then, when the snow flies, this area takes on a winter- wonderland feel. Guests can enjoy snowshoeing, snowmobiling and x-country skiing -- all this and more from our deck, dock or door!

Find us on the Snowmobile Maps & OFSC App -- Sauble Sno-riders and OFSC District 9.  All year around this is a magical place to enjoy Mother Nature at her finest!  A getaway doesn’t get any better than our oasis on the Bruce - oh, and did we mention Douglas’ food?

One visit will convince you to make it your four-season oasis!
