Cooking Classes

Douglas spent many years at a fabulous Italian restaurant in Toronto. This winter and spring join us for a culinary demonstration and learn his secrets to making fresh pasta and basic (but flavourful) sauces! Groups of 4 or more will enjoy a close-up pasta and sauce making workshop - complete with take home recipes. And, of course, Guests will then enjoy eating the delicious food plus an scrumptuous dessert. Bring your own wine too!

This option is available with a 2 night stay for 4 or more Guests. Rates start at $180 per person (plus HST).  Please mention at time of booking.

Fall Getaways on the Bruce Peninsula

Enjoy the beautiful Bruce Peninsula without the crowds of summer!  The fall colours are sublime and Guests can still enjoy complimentary use of canoes, kayaks or standup paddleboards. Our outdoor 8 person hot tub is open too!

Cooler autumn temperatures also mark the start of the Chinook Salmon run up the Sauble Falls only 400 feet away.  These cascading waterfalls are the only natural fish ladder on the Bruce Peninsula.  Guest can fish right from our dock until end September and thereafter fish from below the falls a short walk away.

Escape City Winter and enjoy Pretty Winter

The winter season brings a whole new set of pleasures including snowmobiling, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing - all right from our door. Or, just 750 metres away you can enjoy the groomed trails at Sauble Trails Ski Club.  Sledders will love that we're located just across from the Sauble Falls Provincial Park and the B108 snowmobile trail.  In the evening, relax outside in our outdoor hot tub or inside by our propane fire place with your preferred beverage. With a little advance notice, enjoy a delicious gourmet meal prepared by Douglas too (and bring your own wine) or try our new "Pasta 101" cooking lesson!
